37th edition. The Renal/GU block has come to an end with Houses Clinton & Fortuna within two points of one another. The champion will be determined by the Rosh quizzes that are due today.

General:

Rosh Quizzes – due today, March 2nd. You have gotten 4 email notifications from Rosh when they were assigned last week and a Group Me reminder from me last Friday. Please make sure to get them done. 

Blood Drive – will be April 30th, put this on your calendar now. We will have more information on that day/events to follow. 

New Chiefs – congratulations to Zach, Cassie, and Lou on being elected as chief residents for the upcoming year. There were many strong candidates from the PGY2 class. These three will do great work in 2020/2021.  Old Items:

Schedule Requests– for PGY2/3s the next 10-week block schedule requests are due March 8th, 11:59pm. See below under ‘schedule’ for specifics. 

Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support – is going to be a requirement for the PGY2 class and all classes moving forward. This is only offered on a very limited basis with the first class scheduled for April 28/29th. If you are a PGY2 plan accordingly.

  • Resident Meeting is at the end around noon so come prepared with questions/concerns to discuss. 

Scheduling:

PGY 2/3 – Off requests for the next 10-week block (April 26th – July 4th) are due on March 8th, 11:59pm. Get your requests in now if you know which days you need off. You should have also received 4 calendar reminders in Outlook.
